Learn About Guns on March 12th, 2010
I would like to point out an article from American Thinker. This article discusses the importance of remaining vigilant against anti-gun efforts at the Federal level, despite the fact that President Obama has yet to push his gun control agenda: It’s true that President Obama hasn’t advanced the gun control agenda. He hasn’t even... -
Answering Political Questions
Rifles, Pistols, and Jay on March 12th, 2010
A reader sent me a long email asking about my political philosophy saying she could not figure out my political stance on various issues. Puzzled, I went through the short archives and felt as though it was plainly clear but apparently it isn’t so I will offer a brief synopsis. Freedom is first. Not just with firearms but also the ability to ... -

When I first started carrying a flashlight, I found it was a handy thing to have around. I mean, sure, I liked the whole "fanged ninja flashlight of tactical doom" that was my Surefire Z2 with its GG&G "Tactical Impact Device", but what I used it for was the things for which you'd usually use a flashlight: illuminating darkened pathways, not st... -

I was reading a post over at New Paltz Journal which referenced Chris Hedges. Now, Hedges is one of those people whose name rings a bell, but whose oeuvre and my regular reading don't make for much of a Venn Diagram. So I Googled him. And was instantly transported to Bizarro World...Popular institutions, from labor unions to political parties, have... -

ATF, still refusing questions.
Conservative Scalawag on March 12th, 2010
Pajamas Media has a good post on the BATFE, where the agent claimed that airsoft toys were actually machine guns, or could be modified to make real rifles into machine guns. Now, with the ATF claiming up as tight as a frogs ass in cold water, it makes me even more suspicious than the fact that this concerns the ATF.... -

Michigan proving they have their priorities.
Conservative Scalawag on March 12th, 2010
Instead of rebuilding roads, or paying off debt, the state has instead spent $1.5 million dollars to create a social network. You know, like Facebook or Myspace - which if they used, would have been cheaper. But that is progressives for ya, never going the local route.... -

I think it’s quite ironic that it would seem that the gun rights movement is particularly strong in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Snowflakes in Hell on March 12th, 2010
I’ve gotten a steady stream of questions in for our board candidates. Most of them quite good. However a number of them are on legislative topics, and legislative priorities, which the NRA Board is only tangentially involved in. Those decisions get made by ILA. I've never seen a novel about off-roading. So I wrote one. I also enjoy introducing newbies with shiny SUV's to remote trails, and watch them light up when they climb a gnarly obstacle in 4low. And my book attempts that introduction as well. And from the reviews I've gotten, it even looks like I managed to write a compelling story. To promote ... -

As I rotated double ought out of my shotgun I inspected the shotgun shells closely. There's some good stuff being turned out. I hope you're availing yourself of it, and importantly, sharing these links via emails, on blogs and forums, with your local newspaper editor, etc.A common complaint is media bias and absence of representation for "our side."These people work hard to change that and ask for nothing from those of us the...
